“Jesus loves me, but what about me, do I love Jesus”?
2 Timothy, chapter 3 1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6: For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
God’s greatest adversary Satan has always had many plans devised towards Human race and for last 1000 years that Satan has used Gods very word to be corrupted. Alarmingly though the Last three generations have witnessed the most; we see revival all over the world, especially when it involves everything around Gods word. Just as the book of Revelation says, that end times is going to be a spiritual warfare era, I don’t know much about the end times cos Jesus tells that no one knows exactly the end times. But I pay heed to the words of Bible and assume that’s its better be prepared for my day before God then to be sorry. We don’t know really when our time before God will be, today or tomorrow or some time in the near future, why take a chance. Let’s be stuck to the word of God, because that’s what gives us confidence for our eternal survival or eternal salvation. Although Satan has been able to shipwreck many to be deceived by his questions about Gods power and allowing humans to try to become like God. We all know right from the beginning of time, the Adam & Eve period that humans have fallen prey to Satan’s deception, only damnation is guaranteed with Satan’s assurances but with Gods grace we can escape it.
2 Corinthians 4: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 1 Timothy 1: 18-20 18: This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest wage a good warfare; 19: Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Now for me to start with 2 Timothy chapter 3 from verse 1 to 7 at the beginning of this note was very important to understand as some of you not reading their bibles. We are currently faced with perilous scenes around the world and I am not even talking about all those end times or destruction Hollywood movies. Those movies might become blockbusters for their special effects and the destructive storyline, but how much seriously have to taken the warnings given to us in the Bible. There’s happy ending here only for people truly living in Faith.
Today cult belief has crept into many Christian sects and people have been lost in the rituals rather then the real word of God. I was born in India and as a kid I was told that I was Roman Catholic, Oh! I was always asking “Why am I Roman Catholic if I am born in India, it doesn’t make sense”, I asked this question even to a Catholic priest during one of my religion classes at High School and he instead of answering me had punished me to stay away from the religion classes for the whole year. However, I did pass that exam at the end of the year as I was able to answer the question papers because of my understanding of word. Now what I emphasize here is not my life story but a very sensitive issue with Catholic Church and many other Christian churches and sects which profess contradiction to the word of God. It was always better for me to be Born Again and live my life scripturally, now when I mean born again I don’t mean by visiting some Ministry and dipping myself in a well of Holy water or pond, but to be born again spiritually and yet I endeavor to be born again each day of my life and in the process I am being born again each moment when I dedicate my life as it is said in the word of God. Keeping oneself clear from sin, pure in heart and having that confidence in Gods promises.
Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God,” neither can he “enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:3, 5). I was both blind and separated from the kingdom of God until my spiritual rebirth, which Jesus declared was imperative: “Ye must be born again” (v.7).
We have never abandoned Satan or we always strive on things which are deceitfully allowing our souls to be bonded to Satan’s lies. How come we don’t take Bible seriously, didn’t we learn that all those who were not with God were indeed trapped in Satan. How much warnings do God has to give us, doesn’t the governing of Jesus Christ to be our spiritual savior mean anything to us. We are witnessing each day the Love of Jesus Christ and even proclaim the word of God , praise him at the Church every Sunday or Wednesday or Friday. Thereafter, we let Jesus Christ stay at the Church until we return back the next Sunday. Our inclination towards all the ungodly things is more than our love for God. How does that happen? Wish I could penetrate into the hearts of people and check for myself and turn them to understanding the Love of the Father & his son, but the answer lies in the very hearts of people, they all know that they are doing wrong , but its only that they have lost their fear and love for God or vice versa. One can only see through this that how people have extended their trust in Satan by stampeding the Love of God. With each passing day we come closer to our physical & spiritual extinction. Lets not commit suicide spiritually and return to the Gospel of Water & spirit, to understand Gods love , to realize and to repent and to turn our backs to Satan’s desires, to live our life for the Love of God and to love God as he has loved us.
