We have discovered that a company by the name of Swancare Metal Trading is involved in cheating the Copper Scrap, Copper Millberry Scrap and other metal scrap products buyers around the world.
There are Copper Scrap contracts floating in the market and around many countries in the world. We would like to warn everyone to beware of these fraudsters.
The address which they use is :-

The address is false and there is no company by this name on the above address and the telephone / fax numbers are non-existant.
What you see above is the Stockpile Ceritificate of Inspection that was given to one of the buyers as a supporting proof for the commodity. We investigated with our team in Manila that the address mentioned by Cargosys in the certificate belongs to some other company and the telephone number mentioned is non-existant.
Cargosys has mentioned that the commodity is inspected at the Swancare Metal Trading warehouse, apparently the entire address is fake.
( Kindly note that we have received an updated information that currently the same scammers are using MILESCRAP METAL TRADING as business name with address Level 40, PB com Tower,6795 Ayala Avenue,Courner V A , Rufina street, Makati City, Philippines. )
Our team in Manila found out that there was a company by the name of NIRVANA METAL TRADING which has used same addresses to cheat some Copper Scrap buyers. Last few months the Scammers have used ZEPHYR METAL TRADING as company name with the same addresses to cheat people.
We found one buyer who was cheated by these scammer and the details of their complaint as follows :-

ALLAN TAN) TO BUY 100 MTS (5X20’) SCRAPS COOPER FOR TAIWAN MARKET, TOTAL AMOUNT US$ 816.097.50 PAID THRU T/T REMITTANCE ON DATE MARCH 9 TH & 23 TH 2011 BY TAIWAN COOPERATIVE BANK TO SELLER’S SECURITY BANK CORPORATION ACCOUNT 0461-037100-200 USS150,000 & RIZAL COMMERCIAL BANKING CORPORATION ACCOUNT 8296010813 US$666,097.50; AND IT WAS FOUNF THAT THE 5 CONTAINERS WERE LOADED WITH INDUSTRIAL WASTE (BUILDING CONCRETEAT DEBRIS) WHEN THE 5 CONTAINERS ARRIVED AT KEELUNG PORT TAIWAN. AT THE SAME TIME, WE ALSO SIGNED ANOTHER CONTRACT WITH ZYPHYR METAL TRADING CO. TO BUY 350 MTS (16X20’) SCRAPS COPPER TO CHINA MARKET TOO, ALL PAYMENT US$ 2,422,903.00 PAID THRU T/T REMITTANCE ON DATE MARCH 1ST-24TH, 2011 BY HSBC BANK HONGKONG TO SELLERS SECURITY BANK CORPORATION ACCOUNT 0461-037100-200 ALREADY, THE 16 CONTAINERS ARRIVED GUANGZHOU CHINA ALL ALSO LOADED WITH INDUSTRIAL WASTE (BULIDING CONCRETEAT DEBRIS) INSTEAD OF SCRAPS COPPER, ZEPHYR METAL TRADING USE SAME METHOD TO CHEAT CHINA AGAIN, IT WILL NOT BE TREATED AS A SIMPLE INTERNATIONAL TRADE FRAUDULENCY ONLY, IT MAY BE UPGRADED TO MAJOR INTERNATIONAL POLITICAL EVENT BETWEEN CHINA AND PHILIPPINES.
