Viva Polska!
The strength, endurance, ability, determination of the Polish people has always been their spiritual gifts from God.
Although Europeans and the west never praised the Poland and look upon one of the struggling countries of the world.
History knows that it was the Polish pilots who were ultimately used by the British forces to thwart off the invading Nazis.
It was the Polish King Jan III Sobieski who fought the most decisive battles of the 17th century to defeat the Ottoman Turks from invading Germany and to make Islamic Europe. The Vatican connection to support Ottoman Turks to destroy Germany was the agenda, Martin Luther was becoming a pain for the Pope. This second siege of Vienna ( 11th September 1683 )was indeed the turning point in European History, which goes unrecognized as modern day Historians neglect it. After the battle, Polish King Jan III Sobieski sent the captured standard of the Turks with a victory message to the Pope thanking God alone for the victory. The King of Poland saved the Austrians, Germans and the rest of Europe, later on Austria was involved in three of Poland’s partition and Germany attacks Poland ( WWII ). Hitler was from Austria. However, if the Poles had to mind their own business and let the Turks rule over Austria & Germany then Hitler might not have been born or maybe? He could Abdul Hitler a Jihadi.
Also the Vatican was not getting taxes from Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. This union of Poles and the Lithuanians made Poland one of the largest empires in Europe in the 17th Century. Thereafter Poland was for long time wiped out from the map of Europe. The Pope was always envying the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth and had long sought to wipe out Polish or atleast finish the Polish elected monarch system and to get the entire Poland under Catholic Church/Vatican.
The Polish have always been great warriors, during the battle of Monte Casino in WWII the Polish Soldiers were given the most dangerous location to combat, they did it despite heavy casualties. The Polish played most important part in several battles in the WWII, but the sacrifices forgotten. What the west does for such valiant efforts of the Polish is unforgiveable; soon after the WWII the west serves Poland to hungry communist Russians. It was another 44 years until 1989 that the Polish got out of the Soviet clutches and becomes a Republic.
The worst fact is that Britain, France & the rest of the west forgot how Poland fought against the Russians in 1920-21 Russian Civil war. This was another turning point in the history of Europe when Poland without any assistance defeated the onslaught of the invading Russians, who wanted to transform the whole world with Communism. I guess the entire west owes to Poland and its dynamic Military leaders General Sikorski & Józef Piłsudski.
I term them the father of modern day Poland.
We have also heard lately in news about the Polish Engineer Piotr Stanczak who was beheaded by the Taliban in Pakistan for not willing to convert from Christianity to Islam. He didn’t give up on his Faith , but indeed his killers were all praises and respect for him after the incident because of his love for God.
I just take this as an opportunity to thank all those brave Polish people who protected the True Faith and allowed most of the world to live democratically.
